Adventure Details​

• Description:

  • ​The Sword & the Skull is a campaign where characters trying to break into the adventuring business soon find themselves in over their heads as they encounter ancient magic far from the beaten path.

  • What sets this campaign apart is its wilderness focus. This campaign takes place on a swath of land in between Neverwinter and Waterdeep and provides players the opportunity to explore the Sword Mountains, Neverwinter Forest, the Mere of Dead Men, and the various villages that dot this underdeveloped countryside.

• Levels:

  • 1-15

  • Starting Level can be anything from 1 to 5. ​

• Story Elements:

  • The Sword & the Skull is a Linear Campaign​.

  • It's playable in D&D 2014 and 2024 rulesets.

  • It's adventure rarity can be Common or Rare.

  • Though your adventure rarity impacts the amount of original story elements, this campaign utilizes the framework of any or all the following published content (in alphabetical order):

    • Beyond the Dragon Triology

    • Dragons of Icespire Peak​​​

    • The Lost Mines of Phandelver (Phandelver and Below)
