As a reaction when you or an ally within 30 feet takes damage from a hostile creature's attack, the engine "rates" the attack's damage roll: stars = damage / your level (rounded down, minimum 1, maximum 5). You deal force damage equal to 5 × the star rating back to the attacker (maximum 25).
Usable proficiency bonus times per long rest.
